Socially Responsible Real Estate Investment Trust (SRREIT) is an investment trust and brokerage firm which buys and sells real estate in a responsible manner. SRREIT works with sellers, buyers, and development projects to transition physical assets to be valuable to the local community, the environment, and other stakeholders. SRREIT will work with sellers to assist in transferring ownership to the SRREIT under the financial, social, and environmental terms identified. SRREIT will work with the local community to help choose the new buyer of the property to facilitate the new buyer into a welcoming local community. In some cases, SRREIT will choose not to sell, but will allow development projects to be implemented on the property.
